The AAAHC Institute for Quality Improvement is now accepting applications for the Innovations in Quality Improvement Awards. To be considered for the award, AAAHC- accredited organizations may submit their award applications between March 1, 2008 and May 31, 2008. The applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts and winners will be announced in July. The awards will be presented in December 2008 at the annual AAAHC Institute for Quality Improvement National Educational Forum.

The Innovations in Quality Improvement Award honors excellent quality improvement studies with interventions that have led to positive outcomes. Applicants must include a written description of their studies.

The representatives of the one or two selected submissions that most closely meet the criteria will receive:

1) Complimentary registrations (limit two per organization) to the AAAHC Institute for Quality Improvement’s Eighth Annual National Educational Forum, December 5-6, 2008, at the Rio All Suites Hotel, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

2) Roundtrip economy airfare, within the continental United States to Las Vegas, Nevada, and two nights stay (December 5-6, 2008) at the Rio All Suites Hotel, in Las Vegas, Nevada (limit one per organization).

3) An award from the AAAHC Institute, on behalf of their organization after making a brief presentation(s) about the study.
