The nursing shortage places a heavy emphasis on the education and development of competent nurses to provide the safest patient care. A Web site is now offering nursing school educators and students some assistance outside the classroom.
Liko North America, a supplier of patient lift and transfer products and resources, recently launched a “Nursing Schools” section of its Safe Lifting Portal Web site to help educators develop curriculum and safe lifting practices. It’s also intended to aid students with research related to patient safety, patient handling, and strategies to help curb injuries due to lifting and repositioning patients.
The new section of the free Web site features a number of classroom handouts, articles, sample curriculum, and student resources. Educators and students can also find information in the implementation of safe lifting programs, a monthly electronic newsletter, and an “Ask the Lift Doctor” section on the Safe Lifting Portal.

Mike, the Safe Lifting Portal is wonderful. I just ordered various tools to help educate and protect my staff from preventable back injury. Thank you so much for providing this site. I hope that others will take advantage of this.

I’m impressed, I have to say. Really rarely do I discover a blog that’s both educational and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your blog is important; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.

GameFly allows gamers from the US to rent games for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo consoles. They have more than 7000 titles on board, and finding the one that you need is almost impossible. This service allows you to choose from 9 categories, and they will allow you to keep the game as long as you want.

For me, tiredness is the place I need to push that extra bit. Physical and mental work are a breeze; once I feel tired or sleepy it’s so easy to give in.

Started the electronic cigarette, and never touched another regular cigarette since the first day. I feel 1000% better. Cough is completely gone. Shortness of breath is completely gone. I don’t smell like an ashtray anymore. Better sense of taste & smell.
